ongratulations to Jes Junior and Senior Debaters who won every competition at the Mattheson Connacht Final: NUIG Mace 2015
After nearly seven hour’s debating, Coláiste Iognáid managed a clean sweep at the 2015 Matheson Connacht Final NUIG Mace on Saturday 21st November.
Debaters Ruairi O’Gorman and Amy O’Gorman won the Junior Division with Liam Carton and Fionn Ryan as Runners-up.
First Years Isobel Keane and Eoin Creavin broke to the Grand Final as highest placed First Years.
Tim Keogh was declared winner of Best Speaker in the Grand Final.
The partnership of Eoin O’Cianna and Kate Duggan were Champion Team of the entire debate.
Kate Duggan also ‘topped the Tab’ as the best speaker over the day.
