Congratulations to Transition Year student, Daragh Murphy, who has won third place at the National Press Pass Awards for his wonderful photo of a chaffinch (featured above) taken at Kylemore Abbey, Connemara.  Daragh beat over 200  entries from across the country to win the award. The Jes have defied the odds to claim this year’s Top Oil Connacht Senior Schools Cup, overcoming cup holders Garbally 16-15 in a hard fought match at the Sportsground .
