JES SUCCESSES AT IRISH SCHOOLS ROWING REGATTA

Jes Successes at Irish Schools Rowing Regatta

The Irish Schools rowing regatta was held on the River Shannon at O’Briens Bridge, Co. Clare on April 24th and it proved to be a highly successful regatta for Coláiste Iognáid Rowing Club.  The school came away with four wins and four second place finishes.  All the victories came in girls events; under 16 eight, under 15 eight, under 15 coxed quad and under 14 coxed quad.  It is the second year in a row that the school won the prestigious under 15 and under 16 eights.
