he Connacht Debating Finals were held in Coláiste Iognáid last Saturday, 2nd March. It was a hugely successful day for Jes debating and in all nine Jes pupils will now progress to the All-Ireland Finals on April 5th.
Congratulations to Kate Duggan and Philip Buckley who won The Matheson Junior Debating Connacht Final. Kate was also awarded Best Speaker in Connacht.
Congratulations also to Conor O’Sullivan who was awarded Best First Year Speaker in Connacht.
