Three Jes Basketball Players were playing with Moycullen when they finished second in the top division of the Under-14 All-Ireland Club Championship. Ciaran Anthony, Mark Convery and James Duggan played for Moycullen in their dramatic wins, including a very impressive semi-final win against much-fancied Templeogue in double-overtime.
Catherine Connaire was on the Moycullen Under-16 Girls’ Team that won the All-Ireland Club Championship last weekend. After winning silver last year the team were fully deserving of the Championship. Catherine then went on to England where she played with the Irish Under-16 Girls Team against England. Ireland won the series 2-1 and set themselves up very impressively for their European Championships in Estonia next summer
