The Jes have defied the odds to claim this year’s Top Oil Connacht Senior Schools Cup, overcoming cup holders Garbally 16-15 in a hard fought match at the Sportsground . JES RUGBY SEASON 2015/2016

The 2015/16 rugby season is proving to be both busy and successful for the Jes.  With three squads and over 90 boys involved, the school will participate in up to 40 rugby fixtures this year.  Teachers Steve Parkinson and Sinéad Armstrong-Anthony manage and coach the three squads with invaluable additional coaching support being provided by a number of parents. This March saw another hugely successful rugby exchange between the Jes and College Victor Hugo from Narbonne.  This year it was our turn to play host to 30 French boys and girls.
